These shads measure 1.5" and fished on a tiny jighead (size 6 or 8 in the Finesse jigheads are a good match) will take chub, trout, perch and jack pike. Great for chucking around the margins on ultra light spinning gear, they are also fantastic as trailers on even the smallest spinners (try replacing the treble with one of these shads on a single hook). The tail is stepped (as shown in the photo), which means it is nice and wobbly. Even the slowest of retrieves will impart a great action, unlike a lot of ultra light shads.
